We moved into our new home on the 1st of November 2025. It was a long stressful year where we did a lot of renovation work. We had in mind that this house would be our forever home and we wanted to build our dream kitchen. We looked at several specialist kitchen companies such as Wren, Magnet and Howdens. In my opinion Howdens had the best range selection and quality. When I was doing my research on the kitchen I couldn’t find many pictures or inspiration on the Howdens Elmbridge Porcelain so if you are looking to renovate your kitchen and considering Howdens kitchen or if you’re just looking for some inspiration then you’re at the right place.

Howdens Winterburn Single Bowl Ceramic White Butler Kitchen Sink . I love this sink. It is huge and fits a large baking tray and even a large wok. Cleaning is so much easier and a breeze with a large sink.
The biggest challenge in designing this kitchen is getting the island right. My husband wanted curved edges and we wanted 3 seating area that would fit the kitchen space. We had many version of the island design including an over hang which didn’t look right. We finally settled for this design which fits the purpose and space perfectly.
We love our kitchen and this is truly the heart of our home. I am able to work efficiently due to the layout and the work flow is smooth. I will share the layout design of the kitchen in another post.
